Wow... so I have been away from my blog for a while.. I guess I could blame it on the demands of a new baby.. but I won't..
As cute as this is I was not a happy camper to see him perched up there, the whole thing could have toppled over hurting the both of them! No harm, No foul though...
Perhaps he isn't adjusting as well as I thought..... He has been off the bottle 6 months now!

Picture 3 is after I explained to him that he and Becca have their own toys and in the same way that he is too big for Becca's toy, she is too small for his toy (horse) and so that is what brings me to Pictures 3&4, I couldn't hardly get him off the horse all day, even to change his diaper.. he ran right back to the horse naked!!
maybe it was the pain meds (as to why I was amused) but our pedi came today to check Becca out and called down to the room to tell us that she was perfect, then went on to ask who we take our son to see as a pedi.... there was a little pause before I said, well...You, ma'am..."
She chuckled, I chuckled... and was only slightly offended that she didn't know that.... she probably would have recognized us though in her defense... we were just on the phone....
Just a random update to let you all know how blessed I feel. I have the worlds most amazing husband, son and now daughter that anyone could ever ask for. My family is awesome and that is the best feeling in the world!
Jake met his sister today and really wasn't impressed, he wanted her pacifier but outside of that he really wasn't sure how the baby I was holding affcted him at all!
On wed. September 24th at 8:43 am Becca Sterling made her arrival into the world, she weighed 7 lbs even and is 20.5 inches long!

- Today my Great Grandma White passed on. Granny White was 95 years old, just turned 95 on the 14th... She lived a good long life and was a good christian woman, I have no doubt that she is making herself at home in heaven now. We were expecting this as she has been in poor health for a while now, I will miss you Granny!
- Today is also my "little" sisters bday... she is 17! Boy how she has grown!!
- Wednesday will be Becca's Birthday, it will also be the day that Granny is buried, I will have to miss the funeral..

well it looks like Gustav has moved more toward the east which is a good thing for us, We have been ordered for a mandatory evacuation in our county but I just can't go, the trip will be long and slow because of traffic and I truly think that it is best for me to stay here, I overdid it yesterday and was hurting pretty bad and brought on ctx... so DH and I will stay, my mom still is not 100 percent sure on what she should do but if she goes I will send Jake with her. I don't want to be away from my son but the safest place for him would be away from here. The safest place for Becca is where she is at, so its a catch 22! Looks like landfall will be Monday night...
We are more or less the red dot... UGH... by Wed. it looks like we may get a storm.. I am so not feeling a storm or an evacuation right now!!

Jake was born by now when I was PG with him, so I know that I have an about 6 lb 18inch kiddo in there squirming away.. I hope she isn't as uncomfortable as I am!
Obviously in my last post my pregnancy hormones were running amok... I am better now, Joey is home and all is right with the world!
Becca is doing well and I feel her moving alot, some days more than others.. Joey felt her for the first time sunday night too!
I am officially uncomfortable, I can't wait for Becca to be here!! I got to hold Summer and Marks daughter Carly on monday and she is perfect!!

- So I am doing well, as is Becca, I had an appt with the Dr. on Tuesday.. We are going every other week now since we are so close to D Day...
- Jake is cutting some new teeth, he has been so sleepy lately...
- Joey is out of town for THREE weeks... GRRR...
- I have been busy around the house trying to organize and make the most of my space, Dad has been filling in for my Handy Husband and building closet organizers and shelving...

I am stocking up this week while they are on sale, as you can see from the pic I have started a mini stockpile already... Free Diapers for Becca and Jake... also the training pants are part of the deal so I am getting those too for Jake...

Today a friend and I hosted a baby shower for a friend, We had a blast! Summer was truley suprised and I am so glad we were able to help welcome little Carly Abigail into the world, she should be here in about 4 weeks! It makes me so anxious to see Becca... Here are some pics, I made the Diaper Cake, the Bow holder and the Candle favors!!
Grandpa is doing well and expected to be out of the hospital on wed!!! As far as the bone cancer we are not sure how much that has pogressed, we are just relieved to know he is doing well now!
Joeys grandpa has been dxed with bone cancer. We are not sure what it means for him for the future, it scares us to think about it really. Pray for us that he will get better.
Well today the receptionist called me and my U/S is on June 18th!! I can not wait!!! It is in Webster (which is where my sister went for all her IVF treatments) and I know the place pretty well so I am so stoked!! :)
So I went to the DR today and things looked great, she went over the Ultrasound from last month and said things look good but she wasn't able to see Becca's heart as well as she would like so she is sending me to a U/S tech in Houston for a more extensive U/S! I am so stoked!! I get to see her again and get another confirmation that we have a little girl in here!! DR said on the downside though that I need to exercise, walk in the evenings or something... I have gained 38lbs.
Well we are pretty sure that the new little one is going to be Rebecca Kristine Sterling... I am pretty sure that her name is certain. We have been trying it out for a while and I am set on my little Becca... So there it is, Jake and Becca.
